I. Applications
This machine is suitable for dewatering wet waste such as domestic garbage, water hyacinth, fruit peel pulp, plastics, chemical waste, discarded vegetable leaves, and moisture-containing materials with long fibers. It effectively reduces the water content and volume of the pressed materials, minimizing odor and space occupation during incineration or landfill processes.

    A feed hopper is installed in the middle of the machine. The material to be dewatered is fed into the hopper. The juice squeezed out by the screw flows through the screen cylinder into the juice pan and is discharged via the juice outlet. The dewatered residue is expelled from the outlet at the end of the screen cylinder.
    The working process of this twin-screw press is as follows: the conveying screw pushes the material from the feed hopper toward the pressing screw. Through the reduction in screw pitch and increase in shaft diameter, and with the resistance from the screen wall and cone, the liquid content (e.g., juice) in the material is squeezed out. The expressed liquid flows out through the screen holes and collects in the juice hopper. The pressed residue is discharged from between the end of the screen cylinder and the cone. A spring is mounted behind the cone; adjusting the spring's preload and position changes the discharge resistance and the size of the residue outlet, allowing control over the dryness of the press cake. The 5, 10, and 20 T/H models are equipped with counter-rotating twin screws, providing strong and uniform pressing force. The residue outlet cone is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder; adjusting the oil pressure alters the pressing effect on the material and modulates the juice yield. This machine can also be used for solid-liquid separation of other materials, though results may vary depending on material properties. The feed hopper, screen cylinder, and screw are all made of high-quality acid- and alkali-resistant 304 stainless steel.
